As the days get shorter, art projects can be a bright spot! These flowers are just the thing, and they’re perfect for your future Thanksgiving centerpiece.

Materials
- Egg carton
- Scissors
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Paper straws
- Glue
Instructions
- Cut your egg carton into groups of four containers each. Trim around the edges a bit to make them rounder.
- Give your little one section of the carton, and let them paint! Pick bright, flowery colors or ones to match the season. Repeat with the remaining groups.
- Once the paint has dried, glue a straw onto the back of each one to make a stem.
- Each flower will be unique! Be sure to document them all for your Qeepsake journal.

The start of winter is a great time to get to know your local library. Here are some ideas for making the most of it!
Bring your kiddo with you to pick out books, wander the stacks, and explore.
If your library has a weekly storytime, this is just the right age to become regular attendees.
Start to encourage your kiddo to pick out their own books, and make good use of the play area.
