Materials

  • White, brown, and red construction paper
  • Paint
  • Glue

Instructions

  1. Trace your child’s hand on white construction paper. Then paint the paper any color, and once it’s dried, cut out the handprint.
  2. Cut the brown paper into cone shapes. Have your kiddo help to glue the handprints to the top as the scoop, fingers pointing upside down.
  3. Cut out a red cherry shape from the red paper, and glue it to the top of your ice cream cone
  4. Pictures for your Qeepsake journal will be even sweeter than a double scoop!

Enjoy ice cream all month long as a family! Here are some pointers.

0-12 Month-Olds: It’s not safe for babies under 6 months to eat ice cream, and there are things to watch out for like honey, allergens, and added sugar. That’s ok — your baby will love watching as you snack on a cone!

12-24 Month-Olds: Now’s the time to let your kiddo try a few bites from your scoop  — remember to capture the memory of their first bite in your Qeepsake journal!

24+ Month-Olds: Opt for softer flavors without crunchy add-ins. If your little has any allergies, look for alternative options. There are lots!
