‘Tis the season for stress-free crafts. These pipe cleaner candy canes are just that, and can be made to match any holiday you celebrate with different colored beads.

Pipe Cleaner Candy Canes

Materials

  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Scissors
  • Pony Beads (your choice of colors)

Instructions

  1. Use scissors or wire cutters to cut your pipe cleaners in half.
  2. Slide a bead onto the pipe cleaner, and turn the end around the bead to keep it in place. Once secured, let kids keep adding beads, alternating colors, until the pipe cleaner is full.
  3. Bend your creation into a candy cane shape. Repeat with remaining supplies to create a candy cane forest!
  4. Take pictures of the process for your Qeepsake journal — next year you’ll marvel at these memories!

Odds are, your littles have some time off from daycare or preschool soon. Here are some ideas for how to use it.

Indulge in family snuggle time! It’s ok to hibernate a bit if it feels good.

⛄️ If the stir-crazies start, don’t let cold weather stop you from getting outside. Bundle up for daily nature walks or trips to the playground.

This is a great time to experiment with playdates. Get in touch with other parents, and schedule some low-key get-togethers.
