If you ask us, the best Thanksgiving decorations are homemade. Here’s a simple one to try.

Turkey Day

Materials

  • Paper plates
  • Orange, red and brown paint
  • Sponges
  • Colored paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Cut your sponge into strips, and pour small amounts of each paint color onto paper plates.
  2. Let your littles use the sponge strips to cover the plates with the paint, in whatever pattern or style they like. Let dry.
  3. Cut a body for a turkey out of brown paper and a small beak out of orange paper. Glue them onto the paper plate and draw on eyes, or add googly eyes.
